  1. Now you know I have. Anne MacCaffrey and her Pern series are the impetus for me writing my novel, The Keepers of Éire. What’s not to like? Dragons, dragons, and more dragons. Oh, and their human riders with a plethora of drama to engage the reader.
My favorite character from her series is Lord Jaxom who impresses white Ruth—a runt of a dragon by Pern’s standards but not in Jaxom’s eyes. Lord Jaxom must balance his desire to be a dragonrider with his duty to be a Lord Holder. Jaxom and his dragon Ruth are destined for great things.
I named my first Pomeranian Jaxom.

    • Yes, Jordan, I do know you have and I thought of you when I saw McCaffrey’s quote. Then I found the photo of her holding a dragon and of course, it was like you and Grayson and all your dragons, dragons, dragons. Thanks for commenting.
