Dance Humor To Cheer This Serious Election Day

I turned in my absentee ballot last week but I haven’t listened to any media to see who is winning the presidential election yet. It’s 3:30 p.m. and I don’t want to hear any more verbal slugging.  I’ll know tomorrow who won.

This morning I had a Zoom consultation with my mentor, Lisa Bloom, who lives in Israel. She said the people there have been  interested in this U.S. election and wonder who will win. I’m embarrassed that the last months have been filled with disrespect, accusations, and statements that are contrary to our democracy.  Our ‘dirty laundry’ was out for the whole world to see and hear.

One could say in some ways the dance is symbolic of politics.
